HoopYogini aka Hoop Yoga: Feb 4-March 25th
W 6:15-7:15pm Lower Level
HoopYogini (aka Hoop Yoga) is a dynamic full body workout that tones the core, strengthens the spine, and alleviates tension throughout the body and mind.
This 60 minute class, set to upbeat music, guides participants through the Spinal Awakening Series, From the Core, and Integrated Cool Down portions of the HoopYogini program.
We also learn other fun movements and yoga postures utilizing the hoop.
This class is beginner friendly and if you could never actually hula hoop, this is the class for you. We use the hoop as a tool much like a yoga block or a chair.
Hoops are provided.
If you are looking for a fun, engaging workout that supports your body, mind, and spirit, this is the class for you!

Please know there is a small amount of paper work the first time you visit, but after that you can drop into classes anytime, no registration required.

Most equipment and supplies for class are provided. HoopYoga participants may want to bring a yoga mat if borrowing a gym one is not desired.
Please arrive aprox. 5-10 minutes before start time.
Please refrain from leaving class early if at all possible.
HOOPYOGINI: I have plenty of hula hoops for all participants. Feel free to bring an adult sized hula hoop if you have one. We do not use weighted hoops, so please do not bring those. A yoga mat will likely be useful. Wear some type of athletic shoe if you prefer more support, but also know you are welcome to go barefoot.
RESTORATIVE YOGA: There are mats available to borrow, but each participant is encouraged to bring a blanket, a mat, and a small throw pillow. Expect to be seated on the floor for the entirety of the practice, and expect to walk away from this class deeply relaxed!
